How do you respond as a Christian to the loss of a child? Many well-meaning comforters may bring words they mean to encourage and help you through but it’s God’s word itself which provides the true wisdom to help you through this time keeping hold of truth and solid hope.

While the modern world, especially the Western world, shies away from talking seriously about death and especially tragic losses of children, it was much more a factor of daily life for many in the past. The Bible isn’t a compendium of answers to every question people may want to ask, but it deals with real life faith in a real life God and so has a lot of wisdom for parents struggling through loss with real life emotions.

So we have a growing selection of short Bible studies written by either by people who have wrestled with these issues personally or who seek to support the aims of this resource.  There is a reflections page to accompany most studies.
